I have never trained in a martial art before - are beginners welcome?We offer an Introduction to MMA and also an Introduction to BJJ course which will assist you on your new martial arts experience. Please check out our courses page for more information here

Do you offer a trial session?If a course is not suitable for you, please do drop us an email if you are interested in a trial session and we will make sure to get you enrolled on the best class that suits your needs and interests. Please do drop us a message here

Do I need to bring my own equipment & what equipment is necessary?We hope that you love training at City Combat Club and invest in equipment of your own, but we understand this isn't a possibility for everyone. If you would like more information on what equipment is necessary for your class or course and how we can help, please do drop us a message here and we will go through it with you.

What type of clothing or footwear is suitable to trial in?Please bring loose clothing. Toilets are available for changing. Footwear is not permitted on the mats and footwear is to be left at reception on arrival.

Is there parking at the gym?Yes - free parking is available either in the gyms designated parking area or in the central parking area for the business park. Please be respectful of other companies based on the business park and do not park directly outside of their unit.

How do I get to the gym on local transport?City Combat Club has excellent public transport links. The gym is located 2 miles northeast of central Manchester, near Harpurhey, Blackley and Cheetham Hill. Tram: Trams to Monsall (East Didsbury - Rochdale - East Didsbury) . Monsall tram stop is 5 minutes walk away from the gym. Bus: 83 / 84 / 181 / 182 - from the city centre (Piccadilly Gardens) - stop Oldham Road / opposite Grimshaw Lane.

How can I pay for my membership, 1-1 or course?Memberships, 1-2-1's and courses are payable online to ensure you have secured your place. If this is not possible, please do contact us here

Equipment, personal training, whatsoever owned, operated or sponsored by City Combat Club, whether on site, or off site and hereby releases and agreed to hold harmless, City Combat Club, its directors, members, or employees from any and all loss, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by you resulting from there - You hereby assume voluntarily all risks of loss, damage or injury that may be sustained to your property - This waiver / release is a legally binding agreement upon the heirs, next of kin, executor, and administrator of each of the undersigned.
